Compact Devices

Due to their size, conventional devices for modular installation, surface-mounted, and built-in devices for EIB building control systems would involve considerable additional costs in house building. In most cases, the installation possibilities in breastwork ducts or intermediate ceilings known from functional buildings are not available.

Thanks to the compact size of as little as 45.5 x 49.5 x 41.5 mm, EIB miniature devices by F&G can be conveniently installed in existing installation boxes.

Thanks to a structural barrier, the minimum distance requirements of standards such as DIN/VDE can be met.

Field-Tested Connection Systems

EIB miniature devices are equipped with screwless spring terminals for the neutral and outside conductors which are used for lead-through wiring. Stranded wires or single wires of up to 1.5 mm2 can be connected without any tools. There is no need for additional terminals in the installation box. The bus is connected on the front by means of plug-on bus terminals.
Technical Characteristics
Dimensions: 45,5 x 49,5 x 41,5 mm
Installation: flush boxes, electronics boxes or installation boxes
Connection system: screwless spring terminals for solid or flexible conductors up to 1.5 mm².
Lead-through wiring: 230 V AC/13 A, 50 Hz.

EIB Single Blinds Actuator

The single blinds actuator is used to activate drives for blinds, awnings, windows, and shutters (with integrated final position switches)
In addition to upward and downward movement it is also possible to adjust the slat or vane angles.
An additional safety function prevents destruction of the blinds in case of excessive wind speed.

EIB Double Switching Actuator

The double switching actuator is capable of switching two independent consumers such as lighting, ventilation or heating.
The switching function is performed by relay contacts: break/make contacts can be configured.
Depending on the application, the actuator can be used for a variety of functions, such as logic functions, timing, positively actuated functions.

EIB Quadruple Binary Input Channel

Up to 4 potential-free pushbuttons/switches can be connected to the binary input channel.
The signal voltage is generated within the device. Bus and signal input side are galvanically separated.
A line length of up to 100 m per input channel is possible.

EIB 4-Way Temperature Input

Four differing temperatures can be transmitted to the EIB and information can be exchanged with other EIB devices, or switch functions can be initiated, using the 4-way temperature input in combination with the Moeller temperature sensors.

It is thus possible to detect four totally separate temperature values in the range from –25°C to 125°C.

Every temperature input can be defined with two threshold values with hysterysis for switching functions. Additionally, the setpoint values for the level on the bus can be assigned. The sensor can be monitored on each temperature input for short-circuit, open-circuit or a sensor malfunction.
