  The EIB Home Manager is a simple and self-explanatory system that enables you to operate and monitor the building installations and systems of family homes and appartments. It is the control centre of a house with an EIB network.
Secure Data Interchange
Home Manager permits data interchange and co-ordination, e.g. for lighting and blinds, for timing and logic functions. The speciality of Home Manager is heating control - no matter whether solar or geothermal power, boiler control, ventilation or swimming pool control.
Monitoring by Telephone
Connection to the telephone network is a special advantage of this device. Home Manager not only monitors all aspects of building installations and systems but will inform you of any defect via mobile phone if required. When using TV Manager, all information will be displayed on the TV screen.
Connection to a PC is another option, with remote control and remote query via modem. The service technician, for example, can call your system directly via telephone. In this way, errors will be analysed within a short time and without travelling expenses.
Expansion Possible at any Time
Even if only a few features are used, Home Manager provides high performance. With this system, implementation of any expansion or subsequent modification will be easy. |
Description of the Device
 Home Manager is an EIB-compatible device. It basically consists of a display and operating unit with integrated logic.

an RS 232-interface for connecting the TV module TM, a modem or a PC. |

Home Manager has no sensor connections or output channels for switching. Data interchange takes place exclusively via EIB. |

For co-ordination of all building system functions, individualised planning is imperative. The Home Manager Tool Software enables you to conveniently and neatly interconnect the individual functions of the various system components.
